2play Episode 7

This week i found 2 alternative rock solo artists that are probably my favorite tracks to date. The 1st one is Scott Fisher and if you have the chance and you like this song go listen to his newest album off his website, it's all this good. Then 2nd this week is Granian. He has several locations to get info from like here and here and here. i've added his tour banner and all i can say is if you live close enough to get to one of the shows, from what i hear you're not going to regret it. i am planning to hit the Cubby Bear in April.

2play Episode 6

Oil resistant sole work shoes and leather biker jackets. Now if that conjured up images of dark clubs and Industrial music this is the week for you. i found a group i was a huge fan of back in the early 90s and just had to share. The Band is Die Warzau and i was very excited to find this remix of an older song. You can find out info on them at diewarzau.org and pulseblack.com. Now i needed to find a song to go with this and was happy to find a lot of good industrial out there these days. It made me go break out the Click Click, Nitzer Ebb and Front 242 discs that are gathering dust. The 2nd band is Firewerk, and as i promised here is the 2nd url they list for the band. Oddness...the post containing the 1st episode of 2play is gone. no idea if i some how deleted it but i don't see how i could have done that. ill see if i can find the mp3 and put it up again. if i cant ill just reuse the songs in a later episode. Yep a late post this week, but these songs are worth the wait. 1st up we have Ranting Of Eva and 2nd is James Kelley. i continue to be impressed with the quility of unsigned artists.
im kinda in the middle of deciding if i need to revamp the layout of the blog. i just fixed an issue i was having with the inability to title my posts. That was causing trouble with how the RSS was marking my posts. Yet another learning experience for the net novice. Hope ya enjoy these tracks. laters, g
